Is Morocco expensive? A traveler’s perspective
Morocco is often much more affordable than people expect. Compared to most of Europe, everyday expenses like food, fuel, and mobile data are noticeably lower. Traveling by campervan, we found groceries, local meals, and even campsites surprisingly cheap, especially when choosing simple, local options over imported products or tourist-focused places. While prices can rise in more popular areas, overall Morocco feels refreshingly inexpensive for daily travel.
